As a young, slightly hyperactive school child, I was terrible at maths. My scissor skills left a lot to be desired, and my colouring in was pedestrian at best. But show and tell? That was my scholastic jam. What’s that Mrs Williams? I get a captive audience to regale with tall tales about my incredible adventures? And I can bring in seemingly mundane objects to explain why they’re in fact stupendously exciting? Sign me up.

Show and tell was my time to shine. This love of telling a ripping yarn has driven me throughout my entire life. It made me study creative writing, then journalism, and even drove to do the insane and try standup comedy. Eventually it lead to my life as a copywriter.
Now I show and tell products and ideas for a living. It’s tops. I’ve been doing it for about 10 years and what drives me most is creating work I’m proud to show my mum (or Mrs Williams if she’s still interested).
